Nothing says “summer in Japan” like festivals & fireworks! 夏の風物詩、久しぶりの夏祭りと江戸川区花火大会✨🎆夏の夜空に舞う美しい花火に感動しました👩‍👧 It’s been 4 years since we attended a proper summer festival, (natsu matsuri//夏祭り) and saw the Edogawa Fireworks Show. Miss M is wearing a jinbei (甚平), a two piece kimono-like garment made from lightweight breathable fabric. It’s a kids’ wardrobe staple for summer in Japan and they’re generally very affordable. I like to pair her jinbei (or any garment) with Airism tank tops from UNIQLO.
